Editor's Note: PPN continues a tradition of winding down our year of reporting by celebrating each editor's favorite post.
My favorite article of the year: "Students Perform 'Schechter Night Live,' Participate in Hanukkah Scavenger Hunt" by Shir Levenson.
Shir Levenson: Today's celebrated writer! (R. Rogers)
This is my favorite article for multiple reasons. Shir was able to write a thorough article that explained all of the fun activities that the high school students did during that day of Hanukkah. I am glad that we were able to cover these events because this article showed one way that Schechter students have fun and celebrate during the school year.
An aspect that I love about Shir's articles is that she always interviews multiple people to get a wide variety of perspectives. Additionally, she puts a lot of details into her article. In this particular article, Shir covered "Schechter Night Live," the fun scavenger hunt, and the rap battle. She made sure that each of these activities was explained clearly and accurately.
Shir has continued to be a reliable and consistent writer for Paw Print Now. Every article that Shir has written that I have either read or edited has been amazing. Shir, I hope you continue writing for Paw Print Now next year. You are a valuable member of the club, and I am grateful for all of the hard work that you have put into Paw Print Now.
