Today, the high school juniors had a spirit day during which many brought stuffed animals from home. This is the second recent spirit day that the student government has put together, having twin day last week.
Sam Levenson, treasurer of the student government, said, “I think that the pop-up spirit days are really fun. It makes school a lot more exciting, especially like today, on a Monday.” Levenson was one of the coordinators of this event and expressed that the student government is coming up with fun spirit days to have throughout the course of the year.Yoda is managing his junior course load (S.   Similarly, student Ephraim Berman said that he loves “to see the participation from everybody because it puts a smile on my face.” Berman also remarked that, if he could, he would “have a whole entire spirit month.”
Grade representative Brielle Melzer said that the representatives wanted to do a pajama day but decided not to because “pajama days are pretty difficult.” Instead, they landed on the idea of bringing a stuffed animal to school.

Many of the students in the 11th grade participated in this event, each with their own stuffed animal. Levenson said, “We brainstormed what we wanted to do now [and] later in the year.”
There will be more spirit days in the future for the student body to enjoy.
